"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7

January 13, 2104

2 Timothy 4:7 He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado mi carrera, he guardado la fe.

I don’t know where to start, there are seriously a thousand of things that are passing through my mind right now. I can’t describe it, but all in all it is a lot of joy.

Ï cannot believe that is has been now 2 years that I have been serving as a representative of the Lord. And I testify to you, that it has been the best two years of my life. I would not change any of it. I told my president today, that looking back I don’t see anything negative from the mission, just a few trials that led me to great miracles. I feel so grateful to everyone of you and mainly to the Lord, for the blessings that he has given me in these two years. They say "called to serve", but I feel while I have been here serving, the Lord has blessed me more than I can explain. It doesn’t make much sense, but it is incredible!! Thanks to everyone for all you have done for me.

This week, we worked harder than ever to be able to leave this area and ward ready to explode. I am leaving the area with about 6 baptisms in these next few weeks!! I don’t have time or the words to be able to explain everything what I am feeling right now, so sorry for the shortness of the letter.

But I want all of you to know that the Lord lives, he loves us, this is His church and His plan, we must do all we can, in every minute to help all Come unto Christ. I know that families are eternal! I know that faith is something real that makes a difference in every decision. I know that the Lord listens to EVERY prayer, and answers EVERY prayer!! I know that constantly the spirit guides us and WE HAVE to FOLLOW it!! Too many times the spirit has led us to places at the right time, to be able to save lives physically and spiritually!! I love you all so much!! I'll see you soon!! Hope to hear from all of you very soon!!! I'll truly miss being called Elder Eppich. So for the last time, love you all,

Elder Eppich

"I know there are a TON of miracles waiting to happen this week!"

January 4, 2014

Well, we had a really great week!! It went by super fast like every other week and it was super hot all week!!! Except for the 1st and 2nd, it rained hard on the 1st and then today it was like 60 degrees, and I was FREEZING!! haha I am going to die when I step off the plane. HAHA I’ll probably freeze right up!!!
On the 31st we had an Asado with a family in the ward here, it was really good I enjoyed it a ton!! Then that night at midnight when we were all sleeping they started lighting off fireworks. They do that a lot here, it was as if it was day, and we were being bombed, so loud, haha its fun though because its cool seeing all the fireworks!!!
Then the next day it rained a ton, and it was so nice not having so much heat. Supposedly it was the worst heat wave in 100 years, that’s what I heard, I am not sure if it is true or not, but it was definitely hot, but I can sleep again at night so that’s good, I think I got used to it.
On Saturday there was a few puddles and I was walking by one of them, and my shoe doesn’t have grip, so I slipped and fell in the water, it was pretty funny. My feet went exactly where my head should have been. Haha
So we worked really hard this week with a lot of the members and visiting the references that they gave us!! It went really well, we found a lot of families and a lot of them went to church!! We had 10 investigators at church on Sunday, it was a great service.
So right now we are working with the Familia Perez Torrez, the ones that didn’t get baptized 3 weeks ago. There is a sister named Viviana that we are teaching, and she has 23 years. She is progressing really well! And then a cousin named Aaron, that is progressing well that is always with that family and he really wants Gabriel the kid of 16 to baptize him, so he will probably be baptized the 18th as well!!
Gladis and Lautoro went to church last week and this week and they really liked it a ton!!! They live right in front of the Familia Churquina; they should be getting baptized on the 18th as well!!!
Then we found 3 other families that live next to the Familia Ramirez and Familia Perez Torrez, they are the flia Paz, the flia Cabrerra and then Monica and Carlos, I forgot their last name, but they went to church and loved it. It’s crazy because their kids all look just like people from the states, tall, blonde and blue eyes. haha that familia really likes us and is progressing a ton!!
Yesterday we were with Lucas Cabrera and his family.  They are doing great. He got baptized about a month ago, his grandpa was in the hospital for a long time and they didn’t give him a chance to live, and it was a good experience for them because they have been praying and reading the scriptures and trying to do the things good, and the Lord blessed him and he is doing better. He said when he gets out he is going to be a Mormon. Haha the family is really excited and they are going to go to church again!!
It’s crazy to think how fast the time is going by. Today I’ll call all the members and converts from my mission to invite them to a farewell the 16th of January!! It will be great to talk to them all!!!
Hope all is going well! Can’t believe that I only have 1 full week in Argentina!! I know that there are a TON of miracles waiting to happen this week!! Take care!! See ya soon, enjoy Mexico!!

"The Church is True, I Know It.

Malaina Baptism
December 30, 2013

Well what a week!!! It went really well!! It started off last Monday when we had the pday Navideno with all the mission. They informed me that because I am going to go to the temple in 3 weeks (before leaving mission) that I wasn't going to be able to participate, that I had to help the Elders. Then on Monday they informed me that I would be going with pte Carter to the temple and I would be in the locker room helping coordinate everything and help the 160 Elders go where they need to go. So I spent about 5 to 6 hours in the temple helping out everyone!! It was awesome, a great experience!!! Then I rode back with president and we had a good talk about life after the mission and he answered quite a few questions of mine!!!  I feel more sure of about what I'll do when I get home. Then on Tuesday we had a good day, we found a new family that is great, they went to church yesterday and loved it!!! That night we had an Asado. I easily ate 3 kilos of meat, that's probably why I got sick on Christmas Day, hahaha.
Then we also had a baptism on Saturday, it was kinda hectic because the family had left for 6 days and we hadn't heard from them, but we were praying and praying, and felt like we should go visit their house, right as they got home!! We planned everything good and 2 days later Malaina Ramirez got baptized!! Her mom was in active and we have been helping them out and they have been going to church for a while!!!
We actually had a ton of great and crazy stories this past week, but I don't have time to share them all. The church is true, I know it. I know that the Lord lives and loves us!!! I know there is nothing else I'd rather do, than what I am doing!! I feel like I still have a ton of time left as a missionary, but i know that's not the case! I'm going to finish strong!! We should have 2 more baptisms the 11th of January!! The Lord is blessing us a ton!!! Take care everybody!!

Love you!

"I Know that the Lord Lives and Loves Us"

December 16, 2013

MERRY CHRISTMAS, well its not Christmas yet, but next Monday I will not be on, so i thought I'd wish all of you a very Merry Christmas!!! I won't be home for Christmas, but shortly I will be home, there is still lots of time to serve the Lord!!!
We had a great week! On Friday we had a zone conference in Ramos Mejia. It was great! They made me bare my testimony because I am a pastor, or that I am leaving soon, so I bore my testimony and I started to cry like a baby.... It was pretty sad, but the spirit was super strong!!!
We had the baptisms on Saturday and it was a miracle!!!! Saturday I went to fill up the baptismal font to get everything ready and then I went back to check on it and it was empty. The water had ran out and there was no way to fill it up. We had 1 hr till the baptism. So me and my comp said a prayer and my comp, Elder Sanchez, asked if there was another church close by to call and do the baptism there. So I called the Elders that had the closest church about 20 blocks away, and they said ¨we are here in the church now, yea we will start filling it up", and then called me back and said, Elder umm the font is full already, we don't know why, but its a miracle, bring everyone over here for the baptism. So we saw a few miracles there, first of all that the Elders where there in the church and then that it was full of water for no reason. The Lord was definitely looking out for us!! I know this is the true church, I know that it can not be stopped from progressing!! I know that The lord lives and loves us, and I am so grateful to be his representative!! I hope all can remember the true meaning of Christmas!! love you all so much!!!
